Packing and moving a flat-screen TV requires careful attention to ensure it remains safe and intact during the journey. Start by gathering the right materials: a sturdy box (preferably the original packaging), bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and tape. Begin by unplugging the TV and removing any attached cables, placing them in a labeled bag for easy reassembly. Wrap the TV in a layer of bubble wrap, covering all sides and corners to protect it from impacts. Secure the wrap with tape, ensuring it doesn’t shift inside the box. If using the original box, slide the TV in, adding packing peanuts to fill any gaps and prevent movement. If you don’t have the original box, use a specially designed flat-screen TV box with adjustable inserts. When loading the TV into the moving vehicle, keep it upright and avoid placing heavy items on top. Handle the TV with care throughout the entire process.
